From Our Founder

The Journey Is Beautiful 

I never expected to hear the words you have breast cancer.  I had no history and religously got my mammogram each year.  After the initial shock, I decided that since I was not able to actually change the diagnosis, I was going to own and embrace my experience of cancer.  From diagnosis through the never ending journey cancer is, I became an Unexpected Cancer Thriver.  

I learned that we can make the journey more beautiful  with getting to acceptance faster and then adding in  affirmations, community or as I call it tribe,  and gratitude, lots and lots of gratitude.   

I want to help both warriors and their tribe by building a community where you can plug into or you can bring your own.  We are stronger together.  We will do it with positivity, coaching, mindfulness, affirmations, gratitude and reducing negative self talk.
